Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera belongs to the Performance collection from AutoArt. Trying to have an idea about what this model offers, looking at the diverse photos on the internet isn’t a good idea. Or just in my case it wasn’t, because the model reveals more beautiful details in reality. I’m sure you’ll make an impression about it following this article. Let’s take a look to the exterior. Beautiful applied paint covers the clear design lines of the model. The paint is looking perfect, without shade differences, is metallic and glossy. The black stripe on the both sides is painted in flat black and contains the version name. The plastic made front bumper, has the grills perforated and the lateral turn lights individually parts attached with a visible stub. The front lights are beautiful looking and enough detailed. In the center of the front lid the Lamborghini logo is a raised piece and looks awesome!
The model is called “Superleggera” and in conclusion features a lot of carbon fiber parts. On our model all those parts are correctly and accurately done, the carbon pattern being replicated by tampo printing. So, the mirrors, engine hood and the spoiler are finished to look like carbon pattern using this method. Only the side sills are made of a wave textured plastic to replicate the carbon fiber. On the rear part, the taillights are beautiful made and the grills are covered with real mesh. The “Lamborghini” inscription is a photo etched metallic part and the final exhaust pipes are chromed. The general line is looking very good, the model appearing to be very nice crafted from the exterior.
And to complete this feeling, let’s speak about the wheels and brake system. In the same Aa manner the rims are exemplary made, with fine spokes, modeled studs and printed logo in the center. Are painted in dark grey, the specific color for this version. The brake disks are finished to have a carbon made look and are dimpled to fake cross drilled. Black paint and the car name inscription were added to the caliper surface. For the tires, the right profile was kept, without markings, but with a good rubbery material
Opening the doors carefully, because the gap is very tight, is revealed the interior, good looking with beautiful crafted details. The carbon fiber is a must inside and our model has it applied on the central console very nice. A lot of buttons, switches, even the navigation LCD ere replicated and individually marked. The air vents are beautiful detailed having the frame chrome covered. On the door panels we have the essential details moulded and the steering wheel has the correct shape and the logo present in the center. The indicators are replicated by stickers and even the frame around was made. Not for the least, the seats are correct done for this version having the stripes in the body color stamped on and the Superleggera inscription as well. I would like a textured plastic alcantara look alike for the seats, but is only an observation. I’m impressed about the details and quality level here, a strong point for the manufacturer. The interior is carpeted and on the door entry the “Gallardo” inscription is a decal.
The both lids can be opened. The rear one replicated in carbon pattern is transparent and the tiny air vents are covered with real mesh. Pretty impressive and very, very good looking! Not visible hinges here and once opened the engine is revealed. Correctly painted, having all the visible details of the real one- not many, black rigid hoses and 2 caps of different containers, the engine bay is decent made. Under the front bonnet is only a carpeted interior.
The interior is top notch and the accurately details from the exterior recommends this model. Is carefully made and I like it, like I said in the beginning the casual photos don’t make it justice. Must take this model home and observe all its fine details, you will not be disappointed.
