This 997 GT3 RS version is one of my favorite Porsche model in my collection. It has a lot of personality, like the real car itself and comes in an unusual color for AutoArt standards, which is very restrictive to replicate these vivid shades. It appears to be a good put together model with perfect stance and proportions and minimal shut lines. The color is really fantastic, an unusual green shade, that made me to search a lot for this model, very hard to find until few weeks ago, but re-released right now. I have not a single complain about the paint job, which is perfect on all surfaces, smooth and glossy. The black stripes and inscriptions on both sides of the car increase the sportive look of the model.

AutoArt proved again their attention for detailing if we are to take a look at the headlights, very well and accurately replicated, including the light bulbs and a specific texture for the reflective parts. The air vents on the front bumper are cut-trough, letting visible the radiator, replicated by a textured plastic base, as long the rest of the grills are covered with real mesh. On the rear side, the huge spoiler is textured to replicate the real carbon pattern and the attaching rivet heads were fine reproduced. To resume, the general exterior look is very good, accurate and realistic. The same attention and realistic manufacture can be seen at the wheels level, resulting in a perfect replica of the original counterpart.
The rims have thin spokes, detailed studs and keep in center of the wheel the RS logo in the same color of the body. The brake system mount the optional ceramic disks, great made and dimpled to fake crossed drilling accompanied by huge yellow calipers. On tires isn't any mark, but are detailed with a correct profile and a rubbery and authentic on touch material.

Due to minimal gap, is necessary to use an opening tool to have access to the cockpit. Here, the detailing level is great with modeled buttons and switches individually marked, legible indicators, a very accurate shift gear and steering wheel. On the shell racing seats and on the steering wheel was applied a texture to replicate the original Alcantara material. The seats were provided with soft rubber made belts ant the entire interior was covered by a rich flock to reach the backside of the cockpit, where a RS badge was applied. Painted in the same color of the car, a roll cage comes to put a glorious end to all this effort. The engine remains more visible under the model, together with the exhaust system, keeping a decent and correct replica.
